Research Council
Connecting Communities and Universities to Move Local Projects Forward
The Research Council helps municipalities and community organizations access the talent, research capacity, and expertise available across regional universities. Through partnerships with faculty, staff, and students, communities can better understand local challenges, explore proven approaches, develop practical solutions, and strengthen their ability to move projects forward. At the same time, university partners gain meaningful opportunities to apply their work to real community needs.

Reimagine Greene County brings together local leaders, organizations, businesses, and residents to explore opportunities for economic development, quality of life improvements, and long-term community vitality. Through a collaborative process of listening, visioning, learning, and action, the initiative helps communities identify shared priorities, strengthen relationships, and build practical pathways toward a stronger future. The work continues through ongoing partnerships, local leadership, and a commitment to turning ideas into action.
